VisitScotland Growth Fund VisitScotland Growth Fund is designed to assist the tourism industry in reaching the ambitious 50% growth target by 2015 and to further cement Scotland's reputation as a world class destination. VisitScotland have made some key changes to the Growth Fund’s process, criteria and delivery. Key changes of note include:
The Climate Challenge Fund is being supported by an alliance of partners from key organisations and networks throughout Scotland, who bring expertise and experience of community-level interventions. The Sustainable Development Commission Scotland (SDC) is coordinating the work of this alliance. The alliance has three roles: to develop a shared sense of purpose amongst national stakeholder bodies in supporting the purpose and delivery of the Climate Challenge Fund
The fund is intended to create jobs, promote sustainable environmental policies, improve the quality of life for communities in the Highlands and stimulate economic growth - a key plank of Scottish Government policy.
