Sources of Funding

VisitScotland Growth Fund

VisitScotland Growth Fund is designed to assist the tourism industry in reaching the ambitious 50% growth target by 2015 and to further cement Scotland's reputation as a world class destination.

VisitScotland have made some key changes to the Growth Fund’s process, criteria and delivery. Key changes of note include:

There are no longer formal application deadlines for groups to work towards; the application process is now an ongoing rolling process which will ensure that groups receive an outcome to their application within 40 days. This allows you to take the time you require to develop a strong application for strategic activity.

The process and related paperwork has been streamlined and simplified

The fund will focus on establishing more formalised partnership working with other public sector agencies to ensure greater alignment with local priorities

The fund will be delivered by a specialist Growth Fund team

Details of the fund can now be accessed via www.visitscotland.org/growthfund
