Team London Bridge BID co- sponsors an innovative recruitment programme called EmploySE1

EmploySE1 is an innovative recruitment programme funded by in partnership by Waterloo Quarter, Better Bankside and Team London Bridge Business Improvement Districts (BIDs). The programme has provided local residents with access to over 200 vacancies since the beginning of this year.

“We have been working very hard to help both large and small businesses in the SE1 area and we are clearly helping businesses recruit local residents. Our businesses are looking for employees who love and know the local area; they also want people who can travel to work easily. We simplify the process and it’s clearly working.” said Rutie Mupfurutsa, EmploySE1 Coordinator, attending the official launch of Premier Inn Tate Modern last week.

EmploySE1 was invited to attend the launch of Premier Inn to see the results of their partnership with the local Job Centre Plus team. This provided candidates for the new hotel who have now employed over 20 local residents to date.

EmploySE1 is free to use and is available to any business based in London SE1.

Employers register and post vacancies on the website free of charge, then registered agencies log in and send you appropriate candidates. It's an excellent filter service, as the agencies only send over candidates the meet the employers' requirements at no cost to the employer.
