Scottish Government launches £50m Jessica fund

A £50 million fund intended to boost regeneration and economic development in Scotland's deprived urban areas has been launched by the Scottish Government.

The Jessica Scotland Fund, which is made up of £26 million from the Scottish Government and a £24 million grant from the European Regional Development Fund, is intended to help kick-start large-scale regeneration schemes that have stalled during the recession.
