Inverness City Centre became the second BID in Scotland on Monday 17th March 2008, the first Scottish city BID and the first BID in the UK to involve property owners and occupiers.  The BID area concentrates on the core city centre and includes the Eastgate Shopping Centre, the Victorian Market and a high number of independent businesses.
